GDC San Francisco, On Your Tail picked for Nintendo showcase!
22 mar 2024The upcoming indie title On Your Tail, developed by Memorable Games and published by Humble Games, has been chosen by Nintendo for an exclusive showcase at the prestigious Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco, which took place from March 18th to March 22nd. Out of all the games in the world, only seven were selected by Nintendo to be part of this special press-only event on March 19th.
In this game, players are going to be immersed in the narrative adventure of Diana, an amateur detective exploring the charming Italian-inspired village of Borgo Marina.
The team at Maga Animation Studio, who is working hard for bringing On Your Tail to life, was excited and honored to have the opportunity to showcase the game alongside other amazing titles and to display their talent to a wider audience during GDC, a key event for game developers, artists and industry professionals from all over the world.

“Believe in Wonder” selected for Abidjan festival
13 mar 2024Rinascente's commercial "Believe in Wonder", which aired during Christmas time in 2022, has been officially selected for the FFAA (Abidjan Animation Film Festival)! We are proud to see our work and project recognized once again, more than a year after the release, with our participation in this prestigious festival (set to begin on April 29th).
A heartfelt thank you to Wunderman Thompson (now part of VML) who worked with us and to our incredible team that dedicated tireless effort to every stage of production, from the concept to the final output, all to bring the wonder of Rinascente's Christmas to life!

Terminator Survivors unveiled at Nacon Connect 2024!
29 feb 2024The new project on Terminator, developed by the Nacon Studio Milan team, was presented with a new trailer last night, during the Nacon Connect 2024 live event. In the past months, our team worked for Nacon Paris and Nacon Milan to make this amazing trailer of Terminator Survivors, a survival game with a wide and open setting, initially announced with a teaser trailer in 2022. The game will be set in a post-apocalyptic world and related to the first two Terminator movies, so after the outbreak of the war between humans and machines, where a group of survivors must try to stay alive following Judgment Day, before the creation of John Connor's resistance movement. This trailer reveals the setting and mood of the game for the first time, with a constant sense of tension and danger felt by the survivors.
As well as having been involved in all stages of the animation work, Maga Animation Studio also wanted to give a special twist to the trailer's soundtrack, with a touching original song composed and performed by the international acoustic guitarist and singer Beppe Gambetta.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is back today
28 feb 2024The new title by AvantGarden Games that is going to retell the story of brothers Naia and Naiee has just been released! We had the wonderful opportunity to support the dev team on this remake, adding our passion and quality animation to the project. Maga Animation Studio took care of gameplay animation and various tech animation activities, which now feature rebuilt characters, richer landscapes, and the latest generation gameplay paired with a newly recorded soundtrack.
Swedish author Josef Fares' timeless masterpiece Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons was first published in 2013 and now 505 Games re-released it in a redesigned form, so that gamers around the world can discover once again its charm full of heartwarming narrative, adventure and mystery. As a matter of fact the story depicts a fantasy journey of two brothers through a fairy-tale world populated by trolls, ogres and other magical creatures, which they will have to face in order to find the remedy for the mysterious illness that has struck their father.
